Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
UUID Studio (uuidstudio.com) provides free developer utilities that run in your web browser. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, and how third-party services on the site work.
Browser-local processing
Most operations are performed locally in your browser and data is not uploaded unless explicitly stated. When you paste UUIDs, JSON, JWTs, keys, or other text into our tools, that content is processed on your device using JavaScript. We do not operate a backend API that receives your pasted input for standard converter, formatter, compare, hash, or crypto tools.
Do not paste production secrets you are not comfortable keeping on your machine. Clear the page or use a private window when working with sensitive material.
Information we may collect
- Usage analytics - We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic, pages visited, and general device/browser categories. GA4 may set cookies or use similar technologies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Hosting & security - Our site is served through Cloudflare (or similar CDN/hosting). Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) may be processed for security, caching, and performance. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- Contact form - If you use our contact form, your name, email, and message are sent to us through Google Forms. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Analytics may use cookies or local storage identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some theme
preferences (light/dark mode) may be stored in localStorage on your device only.
Advertising
We may display advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) in the future. Ad partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. If enabled, we will update this policy and, where required, provide consent controls.
Children
UUID Studio is intended for developers and general adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold from direct contact. Analytics data is controlled largely by Google; use Google’s opt-out tools where applicable.
